Ordering
You can place your orders securely with us online or you can place your order by telephone Monday to Saturday between 9am-4.30pm on 01698-748770. Please note this is our retail outlet and our staff may be busy so please be patient with us. The quickest and easiest way to order is on-line.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payments through paypal and google checkout.
We accept Switch, Solo, Visa Delta, Visa Credit and MasterCard Credit over the phone.

Shipping and handling charges are additional and calculated at the following rates:

Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an order telephone us immediatley on 01698-748770 to ensure your order has not been dispatched.
Delivery Schedule
UK Your order will be dispatched swiftly by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and most
orders will be received within two working days. If you require Guaranteed Next Day
Delivery, this can be added by phoning our outlet on 01698-748770 9.00am - 5.30pm
Monday to Saturday. There is an extra £3.50 charge for this service
Europe Your order will be dispatched swiftly International Royal Mail Recorded Delivery
and most orders will be received within 7 working days.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock or you have ordered a large quantity of an individual item, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Back order items will usually take between three - seven working days to be delivered. If the order is going to take longer than this you will be informed.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union all tax is included.
Credit Card Security
All online credit card handling is done by our payment handling partners (Google or Paypal). We do not have access to any of your credit card information.
Privacy Policy
We at Fancy Dress factory are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice.
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us now or in the future.
We will not pass your information on to a third party
The type of information we will collect about you includes:

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code.
If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. We may also use other methods to track non-sensitive information about visitors to our site.

Our Returns Policy
Please note: A separate returns policy applies for in-store purchases. Exchanges or returns will only be made in store on the same day as purchased: due to the nature of our business (fancy dress) Please refer to notices in store for more information.
If you are unhappy with the goods received we will refund purchases if they are sent back at the customer’s expense in new re-saleable condition within 7 days. If there is nothing wrong with the goods i.e they are not faulty original postage costs will have to be paid by you, the customer. Full amount for items only will be refunded.
Any returned items must be sent back at the customer’s expense in the original packaging and condition they were received in. In order to arrange a return please e-mail info@fancydress-factory.co.uk with your full details and order number. Please head this e-mail ‘RETURN FANCY DRESS ITEM’ If your return is authorised we will provide you with a returns address.
Returns sent without authorisation will not be accepted.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
We suggest for your own protection you use 1st class registered post.
Any refunds will be issued once we have received the goods, in their original condition.
This refund only includes the total of goods sent not the delivery charge.
We will not charge a restocking fee for returned items.
Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be exchanged for an equivalent product.
You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage in transit.
